The Humanities Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages, with a preference for candidates with strong History experience. The role includes planning and adapting schemes of work, assessing progress, and working closely with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching. This is a temporary to permanent role with opportunities for progression.We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Plan and deliver Humanities lessons, particularly History, across Key Stages
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning
- Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team
- QTS or QTLS with Humanities teaching experience
- Strong subject knowledge, ideally History specialism
- Ability to engage and inspire pupils across Key Stages
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
