
Aftersales Tender Specialist - Commercial Vehicle (Chinese speaking)

- Manage the end-to-end process of tender submissions, ensuring compliance with client requirements and timelines.
- Monitor tender portals and identify relevant business opportunities for the company.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather necessary information and documentation for tenders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, finance, and legal, to develop comprehensive and competitive proposals.
- Write, edit, and proofread tender documents, ensuring accuracy and alignment with BYD's standards and client specifications.
- Maintain a library of standard proposal content and templates to improve efficiency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all tender-related inquiries and communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients or partners.
- Facilitate meetings and discussions to clarify tender requirements and coordinate project activities.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the tendering landscape.
- Analyse competitor activities and industry standards to enhance BYD’s tender strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and filing of all tender documentation and correspondence.
- Track and report on the status of ongoing tenders and submitted proposals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on tender management and proposal coordination.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with tender management software is a plus.
- Familiarity with the automotive or renewable energy industry is advantageous.
- High level of initiative and self-motivation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Fluent in English and Chinese.
