- Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Implement and monitor individualized care plans, promoting therapeutic approaches to meet the emotional and behavioral needs of the children.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of care staff, fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, maintaining high standards of care and safeguarding.
- Liaise with external agencies, families, and professionals to support the holistic development and well-being of the children.
- Assist with budget management and resource allocation to optimize service delivery.Requirements:
- Proven experience within children's residential services in an EBD setting.
- Strong understanding of therapeutic care practices and interventions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team.
