Job Views 12Description Your role as Shipping and Compliance Coordinator will be critical to the success of import/export for a world leading global manufacturer of digital technologies, with over 30 years of experience. You'll be based out of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and will have the chance to work with a range of teams, including purchasing, logistics, materials and sales.Your purpose will be to ensure that all import/export activities are completed efficiently, where you will manage shipping activity and ensure that the business complies with all relevant laws and regulations.Responsibilities:
- Maintain HMRC Complaint audit logs for import/export
- Trouble-shoot shipment and delivery issues
- Drive accuracy of ERP system
- Analyse and monitor shipping spend and performance
- Assist with trade compliance audits and reviews
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience with global customs regulation and UK & US export controls.
- Detailed knowledge of HMRC related formalities - both imports and exports: Commodity codes and tariffs / processing relief / customs procedures /
- Ability to work with cross-functional team: sales, admin, warehouse, materials, logistics, purchasing
- Skills: Proficient in office applications (excel and outlook)
