Based at their state-of-the-art facility in Cumbria, this is a fantastic opportunity to lead a skilled team at the heart of the action.Key responsibilitiesSupervise day-to-day operations within the Machine ShopManage and assign workload to meet production deadlinesEnforce safety standards and quality proceduresSupport and develop machinists, including training and performance reviewsTroubleshoot technical issues and ensure production targets are metCoordinate with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing teamsWrite and prove programs using HyperMill, Fanuc and Heidenhain controlsOversee maintenance of shop equipmentDrive continuous improvement initiatives across the departmentAbout youQualified to Level 3 (or equivalent) in Machining or EngineeringStrong understanding of engineering principles and ability to read technical drawingsExperienced in programming HyperMill, Fanuc and Heidenhain systemsPrevious leadership experience within a machine shop environment (ideally 2+ years)Excellent organisational and multitasking skillsStrong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approachClear communicator with a team-first mindsetCompetent with Microsoft Office and standard business systemsThis role offers an exciting combination of technical challenge, leadership, and the opportunity to contribute directly to motorsport success on a global stage.Apply online today or call Simon on 01228 812585 to learn more.NXT Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
