Salary: £90 – £120 per day

Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term | Part-Time / Full-TimeAre you a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor looking to support secondary schools in Staveley (S43)?GSL Education are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors (CS) to work on a flexible basis across schools in Staveley (S43). Whether you're seeking day-to-day supply work, or a more consistent long-term placement, we have opportunities to suit your availability.Key Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor:
  • Supervise whole classes during short-term absence of the class teacher.
  • Ensure pupils remain on task and engaged with pre-set work.
  • Maintain good classroom behaviour and follow school policies.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student participation and behaviour.
  • Support pupils where appropriate and liaise with school staff as needed.
Requirements for the Cover Supervisor role:
  • Previous experience in a school or youth setting is desirable.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with students and act as a positive role model.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different schools and year groups.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
