Head of Reinsurance Pricing – 28509

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

Leading the delivery of reinsurance pricing team activities, working collaboratively with the Head of Reinsurance, Chief Analytics Officer and underwriting teams
Building strong class-specific knowledge and translating this into developing best-in-class pricing models across all reinsurance lines underwritten
Ensuring pricing models meet changing needs given evolving market conditions and advances in catastrophe research and data modelling capabilities
Pricing and assessing the profitability of large and complex treaties, including providing support for broker and reinsurance negotiations

Qualifications required:

Actuarial qualification (FIA or equivalent) with relevant prior team management experience

Experience required:

Lloyd's/London Market Experience, including Reinsurance pricing experience (whether insurer, reinsurer or broker)
Experience working directly with reinsurance underwriters on account pricing is essential
Deep understanding of property (re)insurance and natural peril modelling (RMS/AIR)
