- Plan, deliver and adapt lessons to meet the individual learning needs of pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that promotes progress and independence.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
- Track and assess pupils’ progress, maintaining accurate records in line with school policies.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent).
- Experience teaching pupils with SEN in a mainstream or specialist setting.
- A creative and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
