- Assisting with cost planning, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Procuring subcontractors and suppliers, preparing tender packages, and negotiating contracts.
- Managing valuations, variations, and cost reporting throughout project lifecycles.
- Working closely with site and project teams to ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Preparing accurate and timely commercial reports for senior management.
- Building strong working relationships with colleagues, consultants, and contractors.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the housebuilding, residential development, or main contracting sector.
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge (ideally with JCT contracts).
- Excellent numerical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team.
