- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and trusts.
- Provide tax advice and planning services tailored to clients' individual needs.
- Handle HMRC correspondence, including enquiries and investigations, on behalf of clients.
- Identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies for clients.
- Support junior team members by reviewing work and providing guidance.
- Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of service are delivered.
- A strong understanding of personal tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients in the professional services industry.
- Proficiency in using tax software and other relevant tools.
- A professional qualification such as ATT, CTA, or equivalent (or working towards one).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
