Randstad Education is partnering with a Liverpool-based school to find a dedicated, full-time, long-term SEN Science Teacher to start Immediately. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in student's lives.About the Role:You will deliver captivating science lessons to students with various special needs, including Autism and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). Key responsibilities include:
- Adapting the science curriculum to suit diverse student needs.
- Designing engaging, hands-on lessons with visual aids.
- Incorporating objectives from Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Providing academic and emotional encouragement to build student confidence.
- Collaborating with staff and parents.
- Tracking and reporting on student progress.
- Contributing to the science department's development.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant science degree.
- The legal right to work in the UK.
- An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
- Proven expertise in classroom and behaviour management.
- A strong desire to promote STEM and create an inclusive learning environment.
