With a focus on delivering high-quality IT systems and services, this company is committed to investing in its people and technology, ensuring a rewarding and inspiring work experience.What You Will Do:- Provide first-line IT support by answering Service Desk calls and monitoring the Service Desk mailbox.- Resolve incidents and service requests or escalate them when necessary.- Keep users informed about the progress of their issues and maintain accurate records of all actions taken.- Monitor email flow and use event monitoring tools to ensure smooth network and server operations.- Notify users about planned outages and ensure excellent communication during incident resolution.- Manage and maintain stocks of IT peripherals and consumables.What You Will Bring:- A good understanding of IT systems and a genuine interest in technology.- Excellent customer service skills with a professional and confident manner.- Strong problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to tasks.- Competence in using Windows, Microsoft Office, and basic hardware troubleshooting.- A positive attitude towards learning and development, supported by GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.As an IT Support Apprentice, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of IT services.
