Are you an Engineer looking for a new role that offers a varying of work?We are looking for a Service Engineer to join our great Infrastructure team based in Brighton, where you would be responsible for completing routine checks and repairs to assets, fixtures, equipment, fittings and building systems.What do we need from you:Key Role Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Ensure that the working environment is kept safe, clean and tidy and that all deficiencies are
reported.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks on Hard FM & Specialist assets.
  • Following a maintenance schedule to ensure that all tasks are completed on the CAFM system and
complete paperwork as required.
  • Carry out repairs, reactive works or additional works arising from maintenance.
  • Inspecting and troubleshooting problems and issues.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, shadowing, mentoring and working alongside our specialists
and contractors to resolve ongoing defects, and identify replacements for obsolete equipment.Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
Core:
  • Transferable experience in an Engineering
or Facilities maintenance environment.
  • Be physically fit and able to pass a medical
to engineering standards.
  • Be able to pass PTS and Designated
Person (Track Course).
  • Be willing to learn new skills and attend
training as a part of CPD.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
skills.Desirable:
  • Served an apprenticeship or equivalent
skills/development program or
  • Knowledge of maintenance procedures.
  • Experience writing detailed reports.
