Salary: £45,000–£55,000 + excellent benefitsWe are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading company in the modular construction sector, who are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their Rental Division.This is an excellent opportunity to work with a forward-thinking business, supporting their pre-construction team by preparing accurate tenders, quotations, and cost plans for a variety of modular projects. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Pre-Construction and play a key role in delivering competitive proposals and supporting client requirements.Key Responsibilities:Produce accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and tender documentation.Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather and validate pricing and technical information.Prepare detailed contractor proposals based on designs and client briefs.Support the pre-construction and sales teams to develop competitive bids.Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.Candidate Profile:HNC/HND or degree in Construction (preferred).5+ years’ experience in a similar estimating role, ideally in design-and-build, main contracting, or modular.Strong numerical and commercial skills, with proficiency in MS Office and estimating software.Knowledge of JCT Design & Build and NEC3 contracts advantageous.Ability to interpret drawings, schedules, and specifications.Package & Benefits:Salary: £45,000–£55,000 depending on experience25 days holiday plus bank holidaysWorking hours: Mon–Thurs 8:30am–5:00pm, Fri 8:30am–4:30pmHybrid working: 3 days office-based / 2 days home-basedPension: 4% employee contribution / 10% employer contributionThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced estimator to join an established company within the modular construction industry.
