- Registered with Health Professions Council
- Evidence of CPD maintained portfolio including attendance at recent post graduate courses relevant to this post
- Minimum 5 years post graduate experience
- A broad range of rotations as a band 6 and junior including orthopaedics/out patients, respiratory care and ITU, rehabilitation
- 1 years experience at minimum of band 6 level, working in specialist area
- Well reasoned account of career intentions at RNOH
- Experience of student or physiotherapy assistant supervision
- Experience of leading audit in specialist area and demonstrates a sound understanding quality issues
- Experience of teaching junior staff and undergraduates
- Up to date knowledge of professional practice and new research
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
- Successful completion of recognised post-registration clinical course in specialist field
- Up to date knowledge of professional practice and new research
- Able to present information, written and orally, in a clear, concise and logical manner
- Competent IT skills and Presentation skills
- Ability to communicate with patients with impaired communication abilities. Able to demonstrate empathy, motivate and persuade patients with impaired cognitive abilities or physical senses
- Ability to carry out moderate to intense physical effort throughout the working day, often multi-tasking
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and with emotional or aggressive patients and carers
