Contract: Temporary (3 months with possibility of extension)About the Role:MPA Recruitment is delighted to recruit for a Clinic Administrator (Band 3) to work within the Royal Victoria Hospital. This role is key in supporting the smooth running of outpatient services, handling GP and patient queries, managing clinic bookings, and ensuring patient pathways are managed efficiently via the Encompass system.This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a busy healthcare environment and contribute to the delivery of safe and effective patient care.Key Responsibilities:
- Register and process patient referrals on the Encompass system in line with IEAP guidance.
- Schedule and issue outpatient appointments, optimising clinic capacity.
- Monitor waiting lists and partial booking dashboards to prevent delays in patient care.
- Prepare and issue patient letters, including discharge and appointment notifications.
- Liaise with clinical teams, patients, and other Trust departments to resolve booking queries.
- Maintain accurate patient records, both electronic and manual.
- Handle phone calls and emails in a courteous and professional manner.
- Support the notification of cancelled or reduced clinics and arrange interpreters or patient transport when required.
- 4 GCSEs (A-C including English Language)
- 2 years' relevant administrative experience.
