What We're Looking For:We are seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to join our dynamic Property Directorate. This is your chance to take ownership of a small team covering approximately 500 properties. You'll be the go-to expert for diagnosing and resolving complex property issues while ensuring quality, compliance, and value for money.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead your team in diagnosing and resolving complex building faults, including damp, mould, and significant repairs.
  • Independently manage a varied caseload while providing technical guidance and post-inspection support.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into non-routine repairs and contribute to continual service improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with HHSRS and the identification of Category 1 & 2 hazards.
  • Play an active role in cross-team initiatives that enhance the resident experience.
What You'll Bring:
  • Proven experience in managing a team and resolving complex property issues.
  • Strong understanding of housing construction, maintenance diagnostics, and the NHF Schedule of Rates.
  • Expertise in damp and mould diagnostics and a solid grasp of the HHSRS framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to translate technical issues into resident-friendly solutions.
