  • Ensure the safe and timely delivery of front-line occupational therapy services within the sector
  • Assist with triage processes and reduce duplication between health and social care to minimise waiting lists
  • Support external care providers to guarantee correct and safe moving and handling practices
  • Conduct reviews of care packages to ensure best value for adult social care services and optimal equipment utilisation
  • Reevaluate double-handed care packages as needed
  • Offer mutual aid to other occupational therapy areas as necessary
  • Provide efficient and effective OT assessments and reviews across the department
