- Teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4; the ability to teach Key Stage 5 is a strong advantage
- Plan engaging and imaginative lessons that inspire and motivate students
- Deliver Maths content in an accessible and enjoyable way to boost student engagement
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with special educational needs (SEN)
- Incorporate recap opportunities, extension activities, and class discussions to deepen understanding
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Maths department and support efforts to raise attainment
- Assess and mark student work regularly, using outcomes to inform future lesson planning
- A genuine passion for teaching Mathematics
- Strong subject knowledge and a clear understanding of the Maths curriculum
- Previous experience teaching in a secondary school setting
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification – PGCE, QTS, ECT, or be an overseas-trained teacher recognised in the UK
