  • Teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4; the ability to teach Key Stage 5 is a strong advantage
  • Plan engaging and imaginative lessons that inspire and motivate students
  • Deliver Maths content in an accessible and enjoyable way to boost student engagement
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Incorporate recap opportunities, extension activities, and class discussions to deepen understanding
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Maths department and support efforts to raise attainment
  • Assess and mark student work regularly, using outcomes to inform future lesson planning
The ideal candidate will:
  • A genuine passion for teaching Mathematics
  • Strong subject knowledge and a clear understanding of the Maths curriculum
  • Previous experience teaching in a secondary school setting
  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification – PGCE, QTS, ECT, or be an overseas-trained teacher recognised in the UK
