- Plan and carry out audits to ensure they meet all regulatory standards.
- Review and evaluate audit workpapers to maintain compliance and quality.
- Prepare clear and detailed audit reports for clients.
- Develop audit programs to effectively assess risks and controls.
- Mentor junior team members and help them grow their skills.
- Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and best practices in the industry.
- Work closely with teams to maintain smooth audit processes.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
- Professional certification (like ACA or ACCA) is preferred but not a must.
- 3-5 years of audit experience, ideally in public accounting.
- Familiarity with UK auditing standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office.
