Amazing family looking for a proactive energetic dedicated Nanny family assistant. Very competitive salary on offer with option for 3 or 4 working days !Job Summary: This lovely family are looking for a nanny who prefers to work with older children, is super organised and likes variety in a role. Both children are in full time school and nursery. The childcare will be morning and afterschool and holidays. Mum is a doctor in London and will require someone flexible to work some weekends, which she will know way in advance. Due to the location a driver is a must. Dad works a mix of home and office.General duties:
  • Sole charge care of the children
  • Driving the children, school/nursery, play dates and afterschool clubs etc.
  • Walking to the nursery if it's not raining - 15 mins one way.
  • Preparing healthy nutritious meals for the family
  • Planning fun activities for the children after school
  • Bath and bedtime routine
  • Keeping the play areas and children's room tidy and organised
  • Responsible for the children's laundry, ironing and managing their wardrobes.
  • Supporting the children with homework, reading and writing
  • Booking and attending appointments with the children
  • Shopping and local errands
  • Dealing with trades people, taking in delivery
  • Taking the car to get serviced /mot.
  • General organisation ion the home - holiday decorating, shopping for birthday gifts
  • Loading and unloading dishwasher
  • Flexibility work overtime on some weekends
Candidate requirements:
  • Confident driver
  • Excellent English skills, does not need to be native but must be able to help with homework and reading etc
  • Must be active, the nursery is a 15 min walk (weather permitting ) be able to facilitate activities outdoors including taking the children swimming to the local outdoor pool in the summer holidays
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, someone who is proactive with a good eye for detail- can see what needs doing without being asked.
  • Experience working with similar ages- nurturing, kind but firm - a good role model for the children.
  • Confident cooking for the children and parents (all eat the same)
  • A muck in attitude not afraid to pitch in where need e to help these busy working parents.
  • Must be reliable and live relatively local to the home.
