We are working with a well-established UK law firm that is expanding its Construction & Engineering team and seeking a talented Solicitor or Associate to join the practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to take on a varied caseload and contribute to the continued growth of a dynamic and collaborative team.You'll be involved in a mix of contentious and non-contentious construction matters, advising clients across a range of sectors. The role includes:
  • Drafting and negotiating construction contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC)
  • Advising on project risk and contract management
  • Handling disputes through adjudication, arbitration, mediation, and litigation
  • Supporting the firm's Commercial Property and Corporate teams on construction-related matters
  • Engaging in business development and networking to grow the team's profile
  • Contributing to thought leadership through briefings, seminars, and client updates
  • You'll have the autonomy to shape your practice while being supported by a forward-thinking team and leadership.

  • Qualified Solicitor with relevant experience in construction law
  • Strong understanding of standard form contracts and dispute resolution processes
  • Commercially aware with excellent client-handling skills
  • Confident managing your own matters and contributing to team projects
  • Proactive, collaborative, and keen to develop professionally
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and business development
