- Building and maintaining trusted relationships with stakeholders
- Holding regular reviews with stakeholders to review their people, covering all elements of the colleague experience
- Working with other teams within the People function, including Recruitment and Learning & Development
- Completing talent reviews with stakeholders, agreeing actions and proactively monitoring progress of these
- Succession planning for key roles
- Supporting with upskilling of managers
- Maintaining a focus on colleague engagement
- Supporting with new store openings and closure processes
- Managing employee relations cases
- Ideally previous experience in a similar generalist HR/People role
- Proven experience of managing employee relations cases, including complex cases
- Experience partnering with stakeholders across an organisation - ideally exposure to people plans/talent management
- Experience of working within a highly customer centric or retail environment
- To be confident working with data
- Natural curiosity and ability to solve problems
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to make impact and build effective relationships
- Ability to collaborate, persuade and influence
- To be assertive, resilient and tenacious with the ability to work well under pressure and overcome setbacks and changing priorities
