- Overseeing the health, safety, environmental, and sustainability aspects of construction projects
- Ensuring compliance with all regulations and project deliverables.
- Leading local construction teams to deliver projects efficiently and responsibly.
- Lead and manage construction teams to deliver projects on time and within budget whilst facilitating project kick-off meetings and conducing regular health checks
- Responsible for the performance of suppliers in relation to safety, timeliness and quality including approving risk assessments (RAMS) TO ensure they are appropriate and adequate
- Collaborate with the Lead Construction Manager to determine long-term and short-term resource requirements for labour, equipment, and materials
- Foster a safe work environment where team members feel empowered to raise safety concerns and maintain full health and safety compliance
- Prioritize zero waste and reduced embodied carbon in construction activities
- Combine standard products with innovative techniques to maintain industry leadership
- Demonstrated experience or qualification in temporary works management or compliance
- Proven project management experience
- Relevant construction-related degree or equivalent
- APMP or equivalent
- Extensive experience delivering large-scale construction projects
- Water/wastewater treatment industry experience
- Strong knowledge of CDM and construction health and safety regulations
- Result-orientated with strong communication skills
- Strong strategic, operational, technical skills
