DescriptionResidential Young People Support WorkerLocation: PRESTON/BLACKBURN/BLACKPOOLContract: Permanent |Full-time Shifts: Days - 3 Long day shifts, 4 off, on a 3 week rolling rotaSalary: £13.68Please note: We do not offer sponsorshipOur new roleWe are looking for staff with a range of experience and backgrounds to come and make this house a home ready for the Children & Young People to move into.The school offers Education, Care and Clinical support for children & young people aged 8 to 18 years, who come to us on a full time, residential basis from across the country, with a range of Autistic Spectrum and associated complex needs.Our part time and full-time staff work on a rota basis, covering a mixture of earlies & lates. 3 Long day shifts, 4 off, on a 3 week rolling rota.What You'll Need To SucceedYou will need to be confident in working with adults and children and have a genuine desire to support the work of the team. To be considered for daytime Support Work roles you must:Key skills & Experience: * Excellent communication skills

Up to date DBS FOR Child and Adult
Great team player
Flexibility to respond to the changing needs of those who we support
Extremely Resilient
Strong "can do" attitude
SEN experience (Autism ,Challenging behaviour, life skills, personal care)
Strong behaviour management
One to one and small group work

Enthusiasm and friendly approach
