They cater for children from the age of 2-19 years with moderate, severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties, MLD, SLD, PMLD.The school is set over two sites which are a mile apart and split into early years/primary and secondary/further education.Due to the needs of the students, they are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who is happy to carry out feeding and personal hygiene duties when needed.This Learning Support Assistant position is suited to someone who loves working with children with special needs and enjoys getting stuck in. As many of their needs are severe, you will be involved in creating a fun and safe learning environment for their pupils and carry out various activities such as floor work, arts and crafts, swimming etc.This is a full-time, ongoing Learning Support Assistant role starting after Easter.
