SEN/Mental Health Teaching Assistant - BristolA supportive mainstream school in Lawrence Weston, Bristol, is seeking a long-term SEN/Mental Health Teaching Assistant to start immediately. The school caters to students aged 11-16 with complex needs, communication challenges, and behavioural difficulties, with a strong focus on wellbeing and therapeutic support.Role Overview:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support
  • Support learning, emotional wellbeing, and social skills
  • Encourage positive decision-making and resilience
  • Work alongside professionals (e.g., psychologists, therapists)
  • Great experience for aspiring Therapists or Psychologists
Details:
  • £90-£100/day (DOE)
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
  • Graduate-friendly (Psychology, Criminology)
  • DBS required (we can help with this)
Requirements:
  • Degree in a relevant subject OR solid academic background with SEN experience
  • Passion for supporting young people with additional needs
