You’ll help children manage their emotions and behaviour, using tried-and-tested strategies to foster a calm, safe and engaging space where learning can truly flourish.You’ll be instrumental in helping pupils reconnect with their education, build confidence, and enjoy their time in school.Our pupils are aged 5 to 18 and follow personalised learning plans that reflect their individual needs. Many of our children have social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, and we pride ourselves on our nurturing, child-centred approach to education and behaviour support.A genuine enthusiasm for helping young people is essential.   • DESIRED: Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or Level 2/3 Early Years Educator
  • DESIRED: Able to drive
  • Ideally have prior school experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH or challenging behavioural needs.
  • Be confident in behaviour management skills to de-escalate any threatening or aggressive behaviour.
  • To mentor and engage with the pupils, delivering specifically designed educational packages.
  • You will need to be resilient, empathetic, patient and not take things too personally.
