You’ll be working closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and external specialists to make sure pupils can fully participate in lessons and school life.Your role will include:Providing in-class support through British Sign Language (minimum Level 1 required)Supporting communication between pupils, teachers, and peersHelping adapt resources and lessons for accessible learningOffering one-to-one or small group interventionsEncouraging independence, confidence, and social interactionWorking as part of a wider team to ensure consistency and progressWhat We’re Looking ForYou’ll be a strong match if you:Hold a minimum of BSL Level 2 (Level 3 or above is highly desirable)Have experience supporting pupils with hearing impairments, ideally within a school settingAre patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive practiceCan work effectively with teachers, therapists, and parentsBring positivity and resilience, with a passion for helping young people succeedWhy This Role?Be part of a school community that champions equality, respect, and opportunity for allDevelop your skills with ongoing CPD, including Protocol’s free Thrive
