CQA Engineer

• You will be responsible for overseeing and inspecting all aspects of the landfill engineering works, including liner installation, geosynthetics, capping, and leachate/gas systems.
• Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring strict compliance with Environment Agency (EA) guidance and CQA plans, according to GOV.UK.
• This role involves maintaining meticulous records, assisting with validation reporting, and ensuring all documentation meets regulatory requirements.
• You'll be the primary point of contact on-site, liaising with contractors, engineers, and regulatory stakeholders, says Bennett and Game.
• Identifying potential risks during construction phases and proactively implementing solutions will be a key responsibility.

• You possess a minimum of two years' experience in CQA supervision on landfill or environmental infrastructure projects.
• A strong understanding of geosynthetics, liners, drainage layers, and gas/leachate systems is essential.
• A full UK driving license is a requirement for this role.
• Ideally, you will have EA approval or relevant CQA qualifications
