Contract Type: Part-time, after school, long-termVision for Education is working with a local authority to appoint a dedicated and reliable After School Tutor to deliver high-quality, one-to-one sessions to secondary pupils in the Stockton Heath area who are needing additional help accessing education. The ideal After School Tutor must be able to tailor sessions to suit the needs of the student and must have experience working with pupils with SEND and/or SEMH.Students typically access one hour per week, after school, face-to-face or online, depending on student needs. Flexibility and a student-focused approach are essential.Subjects in Demand:
  • English
  • Maths
  • Science
Requirements:
  • A teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, TESOL, BA Ed etc.)
  • A clear subject specialism in English, Maths or Science
  • Experience working with secondary-aged students and those with SEND & SEMH
  • Strong planning and communication skills
  • A commitment to delivering regular, reliable tuition
  • Flexibility to deliver online or in-person sessions as needed
  • Organisation to submit clear and timely reports on engagement and attendance
