We place our teaching staff in day-to-day and long-term placements in an extensive number of Primary and Secondary schools across Brighton & Hove, East Sussex and West Sussex.About the Role:As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will step in to support students and teachers when regular staff are unavailable. This role requires adaptability, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for helping students thrive. You will be working across different age groups and classes, providing essential support to help maintain the smooth running of lessons.Responsibilities:
  • Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and lesson delivery
  • Supporting individual students or small groups with their learning, including those with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Helping to create a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere
  • Promoting the school’s values and encouraging positive behaviour among students
  • Adapting to different classroom settings and needs as required
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in an educational setting is preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive and adaptable attitude towards supporting children’s learning
