Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a well-established engineering company in their search for a Stock Controller to work in their leading facility in Telford.For the successful Stock Controller our client is offering:
  • Competitive basic salary paying up to £27,000 Per Annum DOE
  • Full time hours - Days - 39 hours per week with an early finish of 2pm on Fridays
  • Permanent position within a ever expanding Engineering business

The Role - Stock Controller:
  • Confirm the correct items, quantities and quantity to purchase orders and supplier delivery notes
  • Book stock in on the SAGE 200 system
  • Storing products into the correct locations
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Managing physical stock in the Stores area
  • Kit/Marshall sets of parts, spare parts ensuring production requirements are being met
  • Recording stock adjustments and movements in
  • Assign new stock and ode locations
  • Monitor and manage Kanban stock replenishments
  • Monitor stock overflow
  • Carrying out audits in the Stock area
  • Stock taking
What our client is looking for in a Stock Controller:
  • Have experience with SAGE 200 or similar systems - ESSENTIAL
  • Have previous experience in a Stores / Stock / Materials based role - ESSENTIAL
  • It's advantageous if you have an FLT Licence but not essential as training can be provided
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Possess a positive & adaptable attitude
