This is a superb opportunity for someone with solid property management experience to work flexibly while playing a key role in a busy lettings department.The ideal candidate will be confident, well-organised, and have a strong understanding of lettings legislation. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be working closely with landlords, tenants, contractors, and colleagues, ensuring properties are well-maintained and compliant.What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):
  • Managing a portfolio of residential rental properties
  • Liaising with tenants, landlords, contractors, and suppliers
  • Handling maintenance issues and coordinating repairs
  • Carrying out periodic property inspections and reporting findings
  • Ensuring legal compliance (e.g., safety certificates, tenancy notices)
  • Organising tenancy renewals, move-ins, and check-outs
  • Keeping records updated and using CRM/property management systems
  • Supporting the wider lettings team with administrative tasks
What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience):
  • Previous experience in residential property management
  • ARLA qualification desirable (but not essential)
  • Knowledge of current lettings legislation and compliance
  • Excellent communication and telephone manner
  • Calm, professional, and decisive under pressure
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong team player with a customer-first approach
  • Willingness to stay up to date with legislation and training
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
