While the primary focus will be on decarbonisation projects, flexibility to support other civil and rail projects is essential. Occasional travel to London and overnight stays may be required.About Us

As an Engineering Manager (CEM), you will lead the design management process within project teams, ensuring delivery aligns with client specifications and governance standards. Your key responsibilities include:
- Managing the engineering design process for internal teams and external consultants
- Developing and agreeing on engineering workflows, deliverables, and standards in line with project complexity
- Collaborating with Network Rail’s DPE and other stakeholders in accordance with GRIP standards
- Overseeing design reviews, approvals, and compliance documentation (CPPs, WPPs, TBs, specifications, drawings)
- Supporting project meetings with clients and design teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Communicating changes to standards and procedures throughout project lifecycles
- Approved as a CEM within a rail or civil contracting environment
- Extensive experience managing multi-disciplinary civil and rail projects
- Degree, HNC, HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical experience
- Knowledge of electrical disciplines related to solar and EV projects is advantageous
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
