  • Using a range of teaching strategies and resources including e-learning, which meet learner's needs.
  • Teach engaging and motivating lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Manage learner's behaviour constructively by establishing and maintaining a clear and positive framework for behaviour management, in line with the Academy's behaviour policy.
  • Collaborate with other members of the department, and contribute towards the development of the school's curriculum.
Required qualities for the IT teacher role:The ideal candidate must be able to display excellent communication skills and a positive working attitude, you must also know how to use local data to evaluate the effectiveness of your teaching and to monitor the progress of those you teach. A good honors degree related to ICT and Computing will also be required for this role, accompanied with Qualified Teacher Status.
