Job DescriptionSenior Civil Flood Risk Engineer/Mid-level Engineer (Detail Design/Flood Risk/Drainage)LondonSalary: £38,000 - £47,000A multi - disciplined engineering consultancy that specialise in providing sustainable development infrastructure solutions to their clients are looking for a civil flood risk engineer to join their water and infrastructure team in London.Engineer Role:- The engineer will be the managing the design process from inception to detail design and construction of new surface water management/flood alleviation projects, drainage strategies (foul and surface water inclusive of SuDS schemes) and producing and checking Flood Risk Assessments.- As the engineer you will be providing advice to both public and private sectors clients on a variety of projects such as residential , commercial, industrial etc.- The engineer will be reporting to the Associate or Director.- Preparation of Flood Risk Assessments in Flood Zone 1, 2 and 3;- Undertake conceptual and detail design of flood alleviation works;Engineer requirements:- The engineer will have a minimum of 3 years plus experience and your principal role will be the day to day running of your own projects.- The engineer will hold a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent commercial experience.
