
Senior CAD Technician

- Drawing Creation: Create drawings according to company and client specifications using AutoCAD to create site specific telecoms site designs.
- CAD Tools Utilisation: Use templates, CAD blocks, and customised routines to enhance efficiency.
- Workload Management: Organise and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and forecasts.
- Collaboration: Assist other CAD Technicians, Design Lead, and Design Engineers in developing design solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Check your own drawings for accuracy, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Library Maintenance: Help maintain and update the Design Standard Drawing Library.
- Process Improvement: Generate ideas to reduce drafting time and improve quality, including simplifying processes.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- Able to liaise and maintain good relationships with local authorities and 3rd parties
- Good organisational, time management and communication skills
- Able to work proactively, accurately and methodically under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Ability to work in a high turnover/fast paced environment as part of a team but also independently (with ability to work from home)
- PC literate/good knowledge of Excel & Outlook
- Must be a team player
