We're seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading contractor delivering major civil engineering and utilities projects. Based near Shrewsbury, with hybrid working available, this role offers the opportunity to take full commercial ownership of high-value schemes while working within a collaborative, supportive team.The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll manage the financial and contractual performance of assigned projects from procurement through to final accounts. You'll work closely with design, construction, and supply chain teams to monitor and control costs, ensure compliance with NEC contracts, and maintain strong client relationships.Key Responsibilities:Oversee commercial management of projects and work packagesPrepare subcontract documentation and manage subcontractor performanceProduce valuations, budgets, forecasts, and cost/value reportsEnsure timely contractual notices and correspondenceLiaise with clients to meet project and business requirementsMentor junior commercial staff as requiredAbout You:Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similarWorking towards (or holding) professional membership (RICS, CIOB, ICES)Experience in civil engineering, utilities, or MEICA projectsStrong NEC3 contract knowledgeProven ability to manage costs, contracts, and stakeholder relationshipsThis is a fantastic opportunity to take a senior role on complex infrastructure projects with a business that values teamwork, professional growth, and innovation.
