
Healthwatch Engagement Officer: Up to 37 hours per week (minimum 22.5 hours)

- We provide information and advice about local services to help people get the support they need.
- We capture the views of local people on their experiences of using local services
- We act as a critical friend to the NHS and social care providers, to make things better.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and appropriately for different audiences and platforms.
- Competence in Microsoft Office suite (inc. Word, Excel, Outlook PowerPoint) for creating, managing, and presenting documents.
- Creativity and proactivity, with a strong commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and encouraging diverse voices.
- Be able to raise awareness of Healthwatch Hampshire to the public and other stakeholders across Hampshire, including delivering presentations.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail, able to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative approach to teamwork, being flexible and confident when working with colleagues, volunteers, and stakeholders.
- You will enjoy meeting people from all parts of our community, listening, empathising, giving impartial advice and recording their feedback to inform our work; ensuring people feel heard and supported when sharing their experiences.
