We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to work with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver care/interventions to clients who have a learning disability under the supervision of the team psychologist.This role covers the west locality of the county.Please note this vacancy may close early.This job is currently only open to people who already work for the NHS in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly. Carry out assessment and direct interventions under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist
Support multi-disciplinary multi-agency teams and work with staff, families and carers.
Contribute to teaching, training and research in the department.
Be expected to carry a clinical caseload, under supervision.

An ability to work independently and use supervision effectively and appropriately.
Knowledge and ExperienceEssential
Experience of assessment or psychological testing.
Experience of working as an (Hon./Intern) Assistant Psychologist or Support Worker with People with Learning Disabilities in health or social care settings.
A Passion for working with people with learning disabilities
Experience of psychological assessments
