As our Operations team continues to grow, we're excited to welcome a motivated Jointer's Mate to join us.As a Jointer's Mate at Last Mile, you'll support the Cable Jointer with tasks related to the construction and installation of Contestable Connections up to and including 33kV.   • Review and understand all relevant paperwork before starting work, and complete daily site records accurately
  • Conduct site risk assessments and ensure all work meets UK Power Solutions Ltd and DNO specifications
  • Promote a strong health, safety, and quality culture, reporting all accidents and incidents promptly
  • Use tools and equipment correctly, and ensure proper signage and barriers are in place when working on public highways in line with Chapter 8 NRSWA
  • Communicate any project variations to the Site or Project Manager and support effective on-site coordination
Experience / Knowledge:
  • Must be prepared to train as an LV Jointer
  • Full UK driving licence
