Minibus DriverPart time£13.78 per hourExeterStart date: immediateWe are looking for an experienced minibus driver for our client in Exeter. This job will involve driving a school minibus to nominated pick-up points and collecting and dropping off students.As a Minibus driver you must:
  • Have a valid CPC card with PCV requirements
  • Have a valid Tachograph card
  • No more than 3 penalty points due to insurance purposes
  • Have an Enhanced DBS check
The Minibus Driver responsibilities include:
  • Driving the school minibus to nominated pick-up points, collecting the students and bringing them to the school for the start of the school day.
  • At the end of the school day, ensuring the same students are returned to the original pick-up points.
  • Having a courteous and welcoming manner, as dealing with Students, Parents and all staff.
  • Having a flexible approach and willingness to adapt to changing requirements.
  • Must enjoy working as part of a team.
Specific Responsibilities:
  • To record beginning and end mileage in the correct record book
  • To ensure the minibus is kept clean and tidy at all times
  • Ensure minibus has sufficient fuel at all times
The successful candidate can expect:
  • Working Monday to Friday, term time only
  • Staring approximately 06:00 to 08:30 and then again starting approximately 15:45 to 18:00.
  • Pay rate starts at £12.30 per hour plus £1.48 per hour equals £13.78 per hour on PAYE advanced.
