Role: Senior Fire Sprinkler Design EstimatorLocation: West Sussex - HybridSalary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum + Car Allowance + BonusTechnical Resources are recruiting for a Senior Fire Sprinkler Design Estimator to join a leading team delivering large-scale commercial projects across the UK. This hybrid role offers the chance to combine technical expertise with strategic influence, shaping bids, supporting delivery, and mentoring the next generation of industry talent.Responsibilities:
  • Lead the estimating process for high-value fire sprinkler installations in the commercial sector
  • Translate technical designs into clear, costed proposals
  • Survey sites and assess quantities for sprinkler heads, pipework, and associated systems
  • Work with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Mentor junior team members and raise departmental standards
  • Ensure compliance with BS EN 12845 and LPCB requirements
  • Drive best practice in cost control, tender preparation, and client presentations
Experience and Certifications Required:
  • 5+ years' experience in fire sprinkler estimating for commercial projects
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry and MEP fundamentals
  • Proficiency with CAD software (advantageous but not essential)
  • Familiarity with LPCB and working knowledge of BS EN 12845
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or collaboratively
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
