And much much more!A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COMMIS CHEF AT OUR HOTELWhat you'll be doing...To ensure all food is served to the required company standard.● To ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in the kitchen operation.● To strive and anticipate customer needs wherever possible, and to react to these to enhance customer satisfaction.● To ensure that you are correctly dressed and adhere to high personal hygiene standards.● To maintain a professional working relationship with the food service team.● To comply with all regulations as stated in the normal operating procedures.● To ensure that all food is prepared in line with set standards● All food preparation areas are clean and presentable All standards of procedures are consistently followed.WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
  • Genuine interest in cooking and enthusiasm for learning in a professional kitchen.
  • Some previous kitchen experience is a plus, but a willingness to work hard and learn is essential.
  • Understanding of basic food prep techniques and a commitment to improving your skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially regarding cleanliness and food safety.
  • Team-oriented mindset, able to take direction well and support colleagues as needed.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, staying focused and reliable during busy services.
