- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping team, acting as the first point of contact.
- Build positive and professional relationships with cleaning staff, ensuring they understand their responsibilities.
- Ensure all cleaning schedules, site specifications, and Health & Safety standards are met.
- Manage staff attendance, performance, and conduct.
- Recruit, induct, train, and motivate team members to deliver high standards of work.
- Ensure adequate stock of cleaning materials, consumables, and equipment.
- Support the rollout and monitoring of PSO training for the housekeeping team.
- Continuously monitor site cleanliness, ensuring standards are consistently upheld.
- Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or Cleaning Manager.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning practices and supervisory experience in housekeeping.
- Excellent communication skills (spoken, written, and listening).
- Approachable with strong interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with excellent coordination abilities.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to make effective decisions under pressure.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while confidently leading others.
