
Small Works Manager

- Day to day supervision of the technical resource in relevant areas.
- First point of contact for the internal/external customers and first point of contact for the Small Works Lead.
- Helping the team efficiently meet all the relevant KPI & SLA requirements.
- Carry out regular site Supervisory Health and Safety inspections, and to ensure staff and contractors are complying with H&S standards.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to identify and scope works.
- Prepare quotations for works required.
- Manage workload effectively and in conjunction with other stakeholders to facilitate effective scheduling of works.
- Pre-Start meeting before works with internal and external teams – Keep a record on site
- Be available to attend or manage critical call outs and provide written incidents reports as required including preparing the basis of the quotes for the remedial works required.
- To ensure the online monthly toolbox talks and awareness of any Health and Safety issues, to ensure the workforce is fully updated and safe.
- Verifying sub-contractor works post-completion to ensure standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Complete physical and online forms as required to monitor and track works
- Taking ownership of the client’s needs and purse good communications with the customer to build a stable relationship.
- Controlling and maintaining cover during holiday periods.
- Carry out works as directed by the Small Works Lead.
- Produce quotes as required for various departments across the business.
- Production of Test and Commissioning Certificates
- General overseeing of Project works and reporting
- Planning weekly labour tasks and updating labour
- A minimum of City & Guilds or NVQ qualifications within Building Services or equivalent
- A good knowledge of all building services
- Sound level of administration and organisational skills
- Proven practical experience within the project management or facilities management industry
- Setting and working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to develop a good understanding of the customers’ business requirements
- Proactive approach to all tasks undertaken with ability to manage own workload
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to providing a high-quality service and willing to work flexibly
- Work overtime when required
- Have a sound knowledge of our client base and specific contractual agreement with them
- Respond to emails in a timely manner
- Ensure technicians are working compliantly to industrial standards and Integral policy and procedures
