Every day, we enable our customers to solve the most complex and dynamic challenges to help achieve a safe and sustainable world.The RoleWe are looking for a digitally capable Air Quality and Greenhouse Gas Emissions Consultant to support a range of exciting and innovative projects within our Emissions Inventories team. Our team is in the midst of a digital transformation, and we need someone skilled in Python or R to help us innovate and solve environmental challenges. If you're passionate about air quality and emissions, we'd love to have you on board.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport multiple projects across different areas, with a primary focus on emissions inventories and projectionsContribute to proposal preparation, ensuring clarity and qualityConduct data analysis to inform project outcomesDevelop and refine models to support research and insightsPrepare high-quality reports for client deliveryEnsure work quality and timely delivery on all tasksCollaborate with consultants to align contributions with broader project goalsKey Competencies and Experience
  • Bachelors in science/mathematics/digital related subject.
  • Experience of data processing and statistical analysis using functional programming languages such as Python or R.
  • A strong interest and awareness of key environmental and climate change policies and issues.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail with an appreciation of QA/QC processes.
  • Strong quantitative skills including interest in and understanding of data analysis.
  • IT skills in commonly used software, e.g., Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
  • Experience working with relational database server technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent English language written and oral skills.
  • GIS skills are advantageous but not essential.
