
Business Development Representative (UK Market)

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the UK market, with a focus on wholesalers and distributors of sanitary products, tiles and building materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients and support the full sales life-cycle, including the integration of new customers, merchandising support and product presentations / trainings
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the UK Sales Manager and the Dumaplast HQ organisation in Belgium.
- Cooperate with the marketing department to create effective promotional materials and implement the in-store POS strategy
- Provide regular reports on sales activities and performance.
- 2+ years of practical experience in Sales or Merchandising in the building materials industry, ideally with knowledge of the sanitary distribution, bathroom retail or builders merchants in UK
- A high level of independence, self-starter attitude and the desire to learn
- Strong hands-on approach, technical understanding and good presentation skills
- Pro-active sales mentality, a hunter approach and a structured self-organisation
- Good command of MS-Office tools
- Business fluent in English (mandatory)
- The willingness to travel extensively across the UK (± 3 hotel nights per week)
