Are you passionate about early years and have the knowledge and skills to support an inspirational team?The small, dedicated staff team at Beach Buddies Childcare, Ilfracombe are committed to helping each child thrive, we provide exciting activities and child led opportunities that nurture children's curiosity and spark a love for learning.Main Areas of Responsibility include:

To work in conjunction with the Management team to ensure that all children receive the highest possible standard of care and professional practice within the nursery.
To oversee and ensure that all procedures impact the smooth running of the nursery.
To promote and maintain the excellent reputation of Beach Buddies.
Complete Risk assessments and Health and safety checklists daily and monthly.
To follow safer recruitment processes and maintain and exceed the welfare requirements .
To be the named Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

Requirements;

35-40 hours per week
4-5 days per week
2 years as a senior
Level 3 in Childcare
Experience with 0-5 year olds
Full time

A bit about you

Knowledge, and experience of working with children aged 0-5 years.
Knowledge and understanding of regulations relating to the EYFS.
Able to work independently and to manage own time efficiently.
Able to inspire and develop the whole staff team.
Ability to communicate effectively with staff and parents.
Commitment to equal opportunities for all children and families.
Safer Recruitment training and HR experience is desirable
Have a minimum of a Level 3 in Early Years
Have a minimum of 2 year's experience working within Early Years and preferably have been in a senior role for at least a year.
